"The Prague Finance Institute is founded on the belief that only by bringing together the brightest minds in the industry and sharing valuable information and knowledge can we achieve results that will enable us to succeed in a rapidly evolving economic environment, whether at the personal, corporate, or national level."
Special courses that educate both newcomers and young professionals.
The Prague Finance Institute strives to connect leaders in the financial services and consulting industries with each other and with beginners in order to ensure continued industry innovations and pipeline of talent for successive generations. We achieve this by organizing networking and educational events led by industry experts.
This workshop is designed to help you understand what admissions committees expect, how to present your personal story with clarity and impact, and how to avoid the most common pitfalls in motivation and personal statements. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer idea of how to structure a strong narrative, highlight your strengths authentically, and articulate your academic and professional ambitions in a way that strengthens your application.
The session will be led by Flora Macher, who brings extensive experience in guiding students, both through her scholarship program and her academic background as a PhD graduate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Flora Macher holds an MSc and a PhD in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an MSc in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest. She is a partner and the CFO of Oriens, and the founder of a scholarship program through which she teaches university students about the complexities of economic, social and political development.
