This workshop is designed to help you understand what admissions committees expect, how to present your personal story with clarity and impact, and how to avoid the most common pitfalls in motivation and personal statements. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer idea of how to structure a strong narrative, highlight your strengths authentically, and articulate your academic and professional ambitions in a way that strengthens your application.
The session will be led by Flora Macher, who brings extensive experience in guiding students, both through her scholarship program and her academic background as a PhD graduate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Flora Macher holds an MSc and a PhD in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an MSc in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest. She is a partner and the CFO of Oriens, and the founder of a scholarship program through which she teaches university students about the complexities of economic, social and political development.
